Checking In At The Start Of A New Year
A NEW YEAR IS A NEW BEGINNING, which is why so many of us make New Year’s resolutions. If there’s something we want to change or to accomplish, a fresh year seems like the perfect time to start. So here at the beginning of 2018, our practice is taking stock of last year and looking forward to this one!
The Successes Of 2017
Last year we welcomed Dr Deepika as a full time Dentist, Amanda back from Maternity leave as our Clinical Coordinator and Bree and Jes joined our team later in the year.
We also listened to what our patients wanted and now have a Dentist at our Blackwater Surgery 4 times a week and stay open late on a Tuesday at our Emerald Surgery to help our busy patients find time for their teeth!
Our Dentists stepped up their interest and training in providing Laser Treatment to their patients, something that is a first in the Central Highlands and we were very excited to introduce in 2017 at our Emerald Practice.
We also successfully achieved Accreditation again from QIP in conjunction with the ADA which is very exciting for us as it holds us to a very high standard of Customer Service, Patient Care and Infection Control.
Our Goals For 2018
To continue to listen to what our patients want and need, this includes opening late Mon-Thurs every week at our Emerald Practice. We have two of our Dental Assistants starting their Certificate 3 in Dental Assisting and 2 Dental Assistants finishing their Certificate 3 this year.
Our Dentist’s will continue to explore new technologies and procedures to ensure we bring a wealth of knowledge and provide the latest treatments for our patients.
Don’t forget that we can all make positive changes in our lives any time of the year!
What About Your Resolutions? We’ve shared our resolutions, but we’d love to hear what yours are! Studies have shown 80% of resolutions fail by February, so let’s all help each other stick to our goals this year!
